Hello! I’m Liz.

I describe myself as both an engineer and an artist. This combination of abilities allows me to envision how users experience a product, and transform it into an intuitive, graphically engaging, and responsive web design on the front end.  With my experience as the Lead UX + Web Developer at La Colombe Coffee Roasters and Senior Associate of Global Digital Content at Free People, as well as my certifications in User Experience and User Interaction, I’ve consistently worked to influence my web design with an understanding of best practices in order to create emotionally resonant, digital solutions.

In my leisure time, I developed a product line of custom-designed shoes called Kicks For A Cause (www.kicksforacause.org), applying my creative skills to a product design while giving back to the community. The shoes are both functional and aesthetic, representing not only the customer, but also myself as a designer and an individual.

I am compelled by the desire to display the exceptional and innovative product development solutions that can be created from the unconventional unity of engineering and art. I am passionate about using my technical expertise to bridge innovative design with critical thinking, and am always eager to hear about any opportunity within my interests, or to just get ice cream with someone who shares similar passions.

Let’s work together!
